The Minnesota Democracy Defense Table (MNDDT) is a statewide coalition of more than 60 pro-democracy labor, community, advocacy, and grassroots organizations and elected officials working together to protect democracy, resist authoritarianism, and strengthen civil society through coordination, communication, and collective action.

Initially formed in 2020 and reconvened in 2024, the Table is focused on building a broad united front to meet the existential threat before us: destructive actions at the federal level that undermine our democracy and crucial public services. Our work together is explicitly pro-democracy and non-partisan.

With communications powered by Popular Discourse, we build pro-democracy capacity and infrastructure to defeat the direct and present authoritarian threat before us, cognizant of the specific attacks directed at communities, including immigrants, people of color, and LGBTQ+ communities.

If your organization is interested in joining our coordinated, nonviolent, and inclusive movement, please contact us at info@defenddemocracymn.org.
